Finally, an anti aliased Amsn can be considered usable (at least by me). I’m using Amsn SVN and Tcl/Tk 8.5a4 (Development branch), which has the ability to render anti aliased fonts.

I’ve been an irc user for years, and i learned a lot there, and i put up with a lot of shit, but i’m finally getting sick of it. Maybe it’s time to abandon it completely or cut a lot of the channels i’m usually at.

And this was probably the smoothest reinstall i ever had. I used dpkg -l to get a list of all the packages i had installed, and after a few hours of package downloading, i was up and running again and just had to reconfigure a couple of things to be back at the same point.
