Anneke van Giersbergen leaves The Gathering
It saddens me to know that we won’t have another The Gathering album with Anneke. The Gathering has been one of my favorite bands since I heard them some 6 or 7 years ago, mostly because of her great voice. And of course, all of us geeks have to love that album called “If Then Else” :). I just hope she can come up with some nice new project and that this is not the end of The Gathering itself.
